Installing Shortname’s Browser Extension

Installation

  1. Click here to download the Google Chrome extension for Shortname.
  2. Open the downloaded zip file and extract chrome folder to the location of your choice.
  3. Then go to your Chrome browser and type chrome://extensions and press Enter.
  4. On the top right, click the toggle button to enable Developer mode.
  5. Click Load unpacked, then navigate to the extracted folder and click "OK."
  6. The Shortname extension is now installed on your Chrome browser.
  1. Click here to download the Shortname Mozilla Firefox add-on.
  2. Open the downloaded zip file and extract the firefox folder to the location of your choice.
  3. Then go to your Firefox browser, type about:debugging and press Enter.
  4. On the sidebar, click on This Firefox tab.
  5. Click Load Temporary Add-on, then navigate to the extracted folder, select the manifest.json file and click “OK”.
  6. The Shortname extension is now installed on your Firefox browser.
